School of Comprehensive Knowledge
Welcome to the SCK.
The school is premised on the conviction that a pure form of inquiry exists and that knowledge, when genuine, is the proper mode of its disclosure. Education, if it is to be comprehensive and not only a means to some end, must centre on this insight, on the idea that knowledge is essentially for its own sake. The word comprehensive further denotes a mode of knowledge that does not stop at one form of understanding, but seeks to do justice to what is fundamentally in evidence in our experience - a knowledge of being qua being, as it was once said.
